It features an obsidian coloured dial with golden hands and appliques, housed in an 18K 5N gold case, and fitted with a black alligator leather strap. The clear, functional dial boasts a peripheral precision scale, recessed totalizers, and a quarter-second scale, which not only allows for precise reading but also serves as a reminder of the Portugieser’s origins as a nautical precision instrument for the wrist. The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre, which offers up to 46 hours power reserve and is visible through the transparent case back.
